Members were privileged to hear from Martin Sloman (QSM) of the Kapiti Kindness Trust and Whirlwind Charity for men's mental health.
The Kapiti Kindness Trust was runner up in the Health and Wellbeing category and winner of the Rising Star Award in the Wellington Airport Community Awards
"There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in." Archbishop Desmond TutuMartin asked us all to commit $2 month to his Kindness Trust: 06 0730 0395753 00. If every Kapitian donated $2 pm that would tally up to over $1.3 m per annum to put back into the Kapiti Community!
